Founded in 1946 and in the NBA since 1949, Atlanta holds the sad record of being the longest franchise not to win an NBA title. Its only title came in 1958.
Although some big names, such as Dominique Wilkins and Dikembe Mutombo, have played some great basketball for this franchise, it is unfortunately still not among the elite.
However, since the Draft of young prodigy Trae Young, things could be changing!
In any case, grocers love this team, not only because it represents Atlanta and they have a special affinity with the city, but also because Mutombo played here, and that's saying a lot!
