Created in 1946 and in the NBA since 1949, it holds the sad record of the franchise having spent the longest time without winning an NBA title. Its only title was in 1958.
Even if some great names, such as Dominique Wilkins or Dikembe Mutombo, have played great basketball in this franchise, it is unfortunately not yet part of the elite.
Nevertheless, since the draft of the young prodigy Trae Young things could change!
In any case, the grocers love this team, already because it represents Atlanta, and they have a particular affinity with this city, but also because Mutombo played there, and that means a lot!
