As Lyonnais and basketball fans, the Spurs have a special place in the hearts of grocers for a very simple reason: Tony Parker, one of the best NBA point guards!

The Spurs remember with emotion the "great" period of the San Antonio Spurs, with Tim Duncan, T.P. and Manu Ginóbili. Period in which they will win 4 NBA championships in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014.
With great players come also great coaches, and the Spurs have Gregg Popovich, awarded 3 times as coach of the year, a kind of MVP for coaches! It is (among others) thanks to Mr Popovich that so many foreign players integrate the NBA today, he was not limited to American universities when he was scouting. Good for him, when you know that Slouch was traded in 28th position in 2001.
