Seattle SuperSonics

The Sonics franchise

There's a time that people under the age of 20 will never know, and that time is the time of the Seattle Supersonics.
The franchise that still inspires the people of Washington state, who still mourn their beloved NBA basketball team.
Created in 1967, it moved in 2008 to become the Oklahoma City Thunder.
During their time in the world's best basketball league, the Sonics left their mark on the NBA.
Already with their title in 1979, but also with incredible players like Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton who took them to the finals in 1996, a finals they lost to Jordan's unstoppable Bulls.
The Sonics are also known today as the franchise that drafted Kevin Durant, one of the best players in the game, in 2007.
Grocers nostalgic for the Kemp / Payton era are offering Supersonics jerseys and caps, made by Mitchell and Ness.
