Houston Astros

Hello Houston? We have a baseball team! Meet the Houston Astros, a Major League Baseball team based in Texas.
The team is part of the Western Division of the American League.
The Astros were created with a rather exotic name, the "Houston Colt .45s" and entered the National Baseball League as an expansion team in 1962, along with the New York Mets. The current name, inspired directly by the Space Center, was adopted three years later when they moved into the Astrodome, the first domed sports stadium and nicknamed the "Eighth Wonder of the World."
The Astros have been playing in Minute maid Park since 2000. They landed the World Series in 2017. This victory is marred by a cheating scandal. Note that the cheating scandals that make the headlines in baseball are recurrent for decades, the Astros are very far from being the only ones.
