The Pistons are a basketball team playing in the prestigious NBA.
Founded in 1941 by a General Motors subcontractor (hence the name Pistons), the franchise quickly became a household name.
It wasn't until the 1980s, however, that this success was transformed into an NBA title. At the time, their style of play was "muscular", to say the least!
Led by Isiah Thomas and Denis Rodman, the team became NBA champions in 1989 and 1990.
Although the team is in a less favourable position today, it can still count on Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin and even a Frenchman: Sekou Doumbouya!
