The Miami Dolphins are a professional American soccer team that plays in Miami, Florida. They play their home games in the suburbs of Miami, at the "Hard Rock Stadium".
Currently, the Dolphins are members of the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL).
The Dolphins began playing in the American Football League as an expansion team in 1966, and joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL merger thereafter.
Known to those uninitiated for Dan Marino and/or the movie Ace Ventura, this franchise is one of the most legendary in the NFL.
